1. We believe there is one God, creator of heaven and earth, eternally existent in three persons- Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. (Gen 1:1; 26-27; Ps 90:2; Mt 28:19; 1Pt 1:2)

2. We believe that man was created in the image of a holy God.  Sin, however, has brought about physical and spiritual death leaving the human race separated from a holy God. (Gen 1:27; Ps8; Rom 3:23; Ps 51:2)

3. We believe that Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, was born of a virgin and lived a perfect life.  His death on the cross serves as the only sacrifice for our sins.  After being buried, Christ rose from the dead proving the validity of the cross and demonstrating God’s power over sin and death and enabling believers to receive the Holy Spirit.  He ascended to heaven and will one day return again.  (1Cor 15:3-4; Is 9:6; Heb 4:14-15; Titus 2:13; 1Tim 6:14-15; John 7:38-39)

4. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells those who know Him.  He serves as our guide, comforter, counselor, and empowers us to live a godly life. (John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Gal 5:25; 2Cor 3:17)

5. We believe Salvation is a gift of God to man.  No amount of good works can ever make up for man’s sin.  Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be freed from sin’s penalty and adopted into the family of God. (John 14:6; Rom 6:23; Eph 1:3-8; Eph 2:8-9; Titus 3:5)

6. We believe the eternal destiny of an individual is sealed at death.  There will be a resurrection of all people.  Unbelievers will be separated from God to face eternal judgment and condemnation in hell.  The final destiny of all believers is eternity with God because of God’s grace and their response to His provision in Jesus Christ.  Because of his grace, God will further reward believers for loving and faithful obedience to God in this life, resulting in further worship of Him. (Matt 25:34-36; John 14;2-4; 1Cor 3:10-15; 2 Cor 5:6-10; Heb 2:1-4; Heb 9:27-28; Rev 4:10-11; Rev 21:1-7)

7. We believe the Bible is inspired of God, without error, and is our authority in faith and life.  It guides us both as individuals and as a church. (2Tim 3:16-17; 2Pt 1:20-21; Ps 119:105, 160)

8. We believe that as an individual comes to know God they become a member in the body of Christ, the Church.  As a part of the Church we commit ourselves to making disciples, gathering together to glorify God and reaching out to the world. (Matt 28:18-20; Acts 2:42-47; Heb 10:25)

9. We believe that Jesus wants his followers to be identified with Him by being baptized and remember Him by partaking the Lord’s Supper.  (Mt 28:18-20; 1Cor 11:23-34)

10. We believe that each believer has time, talents, gifts, abilities, and resources, given by God to be exercised in faith by the individual, for the benefit of the body and the furthering of the Kingdom. (Acts 2:43-47; Rom 12, 1Cor12, Eph 4)
